Instead of hitting leadoff doubles, it would be nice if McNugget was hitting 2 RBI doubles. I wouldn't mind him in the 4 or 5 spot.

I have a feeling he wouldnt be as successful in the middle of the lineup. Hes very comfortable batting 1st.

He's your prototypical 2 hole hitter. He is NOT a leadoff guy. I can't believe you people don't get that.

I'm with you man. I think Laird fits the mold to a tee.

How many games last year did Mac Mullen hit in the middle of the lineup? What makes you think he wouldn't perform well there?

4 spot would be interesting for mclovin. But laird does not belong in the lead off spot unless his bat wakes up. Stevenson can be a nice choice but not really. McMullen is the easily the most consistent guy we have in that spot.

He has the highest OBP on the team.

Lot more pressure hitting behind Bregman. See the stats of our 4 hole hitters this year. JMO sponsored by CPM

Can we please get Arby's Fields in the two hole? That way if McBaseball gets on base, Arby's can bunt him over.

He's only hitting leadoff once in a game. Usually in the 9th inning you have the bottom of the lineup coming up; 8-9-1.

We need a clutch bat behind Bregman. That way he won't chase 1-0 curveballs out of the zone with runners on base.
