Seems like the more time he spent with the staff here, the more he dropped.

Didn't he hit below .400 his first year here then over .400 the second year?

The illogical hate of Javi knows no bounds...there are plenty of good reasons to not be thrilled with him being the hitting coach at LSU. Raph Rhymes isn't one.

the non-improvement thus far of Jacoby Jones. The steady mediocre hitting of Tyler Hanover. The consistent striking out of Mason Katz. Those are reasons to think he's a poor hiting coach.

How are our pitchers doing

" Louisiana State RHP Aaron Nola (2-0, 0.82, 11 IP, 2 BB/15 SO) team's best arm" according to Perfect Game.
Quite a few of LSU pitchers are doing well.

Summer Ball

Eades sitting this summer out and that's all I've heard.

I agree with all this but I also think lsu hitters are simply weak. Coaching would help but recruiting good hitters would help more.

This is one reason why I believe there's a good chance we fall on our face next year

They are obviously in need of some Javy Sanchez DeMarini Low Tee Drill.

We could have easily not hosted a regional if some of those games go the other way. A big reason we did so well was because of rhymes freak year.

In other words we were good only because our players played well.

Question: how else does a team become good?

Didn't he throw a lot of props in an interview around the time he was still at the lofty levels to his LSU-E coach? Seems like the more time he spent with the staff here, the more he dropped.
