The same gun that was used to clock Nolan at 108 in the 9th inning also clocked him at like 81 in the first. Both were fastballs. No one truly knows how hard those guys threw because Juggs was so unreliable. The same model in the hands of two different scouts could get readings 5 mph apart even in the early 90s.

Loer struggling now some with getting his offspeed close enough to fool anyone. Battled back to a 3-2 count on Brown before a high FB leads to a walk.
