not sure but i thought i saw something yesterday about the sec plan being approved where it was pretty much a normal schedule and may even be the same schedule that was set up last year

SEC conference schedule is same as last year, just waiting on non conference.

We have some issues there. Illinois was one of our weekend series, but currently the Big Ten is conference only.
UC-Riverside was another one. I don't know the status of the Big West but UCR was at risk to drop the program.

Just schedule the in-state schools for some additional games. I wouldn't mind playing Tulane and ULL in a weekend series with our best arms against theirs.

I know this isn't a normal season, so this could be an option, but I don't like playing weekend series against teams within driving distance.

Keep it local with the non conf schedule to help those teams out. They need it! Weekend series with ULL and Tulane would be great. You could play games at LSU and Tulane during the 3 game series and do the same with ULL.
SEC is always strong enough where SOS is not really important.
