Because it isn't out yet. However, I can assure you that it will consist of LSU playing the first 23-25 games at home against poor to average competition...

I understand that this scheduling process has worked in the past, but it would be nice to at least branch out and play some quality OOC competition. And don't tell me that it is because no one will agree to schedule LSU or how LSU makes so much money at home. That is BS. Almost every other perennial powerhouse travels to a good opponent during the OOC schedule, but not LSU.

I'm sure most any northern school is possible anytime through March. The problem is there aren't very many quality schools to pick from.

That is what I heard also.

Problem with scheduling too many quality opponents, they want a trade of you going play at their place and the way they have things set up, LSU is often not available to travel to other schools as often. CPM said that when he was hired, he was told he had to schedule approximately 32 (I think) home games per year (money-wise)

This should be a great early season test for both teams! I really wish LSU would agree to play a series in Fullerton, but according to Coach Serrano they declined the offer when the 2011 series was set up.

I heard Robin Ventura talking during the CWS and said the kid with the hitting streak down @ FIU would open the season @ LSU.

Non-conference weekends are Wake Forest/UNO (4 game weekend like last year), Holy Cross, Princeton and Cal State Fullerton. I know we open up SEC play with Florida and finish SEC play at Mississippi State.

It's more like 35-36 which leaves almost no wiggle room to travel for a weekend series.
