This is unacceptable and yet some still do not see a decline in the program

Yes that's what they say it's baseball. I'm sure they will have many excuses.

We are very mediocre and growing more so by the day. Mainieri has gotten fat and happy and too comfortable

Bruh we’re in a three way tie for 3rd in the West, how is that not great? It’s like you people expect us to win the SEC West and beat juggernauts like Alabama just because we were pre season #1 nationally. Such unfair expectations for Pawl, don’t you know he won a national title a decade ago?

Oh no bayou, “It’s just baseball”. “It’s early”
Blah Blah Blah. This program is definitely headed in the wrong direction. One championship in 10 years. And definitely not one this year either. The expectation level has been lowered to average baseball is good enough. Of course if you question anything about the program or Pawwl Miles. You get attacked on here big time. Don’t worry a new head chief is in town. He’s sees the attendance at the games and the shape of the program. I’m sure a pep talk is coming at the end of the season!!

Lol. It's got nothing to do with being preseason number one and doing less with more. LSU is one of the premier programs in the country, one of the best fanbases in the country, and ours is an athletic department that will actually devote significant resources to the program. That's why that 8-27 road record is unacceptable.

We have the best of everything and a coach who, for whatever reasons whether valid or invalid, seems not to care. If he's indeed having a difficult time after the passing of his father, I sympathize with him, but he has a job to do.

Lol of course you’re right, I was only funning. We could debate why but let’s just say every coach’s tenure ends at some point and it’s just time for coach PM and LSU to make a change and move on.

Has it warmed up, yet?

Paulie, like Les, caught lightning in a bottle with his CWS title. That squad was beyond loaded - he just had to stay out of their way.

Skip Bertman spoiled us when it came to coaching and player development....
CPM doesn't have these skills at all....

in all fairness, lsu's road record should be compared to everyone else in the sec west. lsu doesn't play in a vacuum.

also, that record would most assuredly be better if lsu weren't having once in a lifetime injuries. it's possible there's never been a college baseball team with more injuries than lsu is dealing with this year. half the team is either injured or trying to come back from injury. i've never seen anything like it. not even 2017 msu

I mean our road series this year have been

Top 10 Georgia L
Top 10 Mississippi State W
Missouri missing half of our team L
Alabama with Henry sitting TBD

Hardly a large enough sample size to really say anything. By the end of this week we probably will have gone 2-2 in road series
