It seems that a batters capability in recent years is determined more by the number of homeruns they can hit then how often they make contact. Too bad the only time Landry can hit the ball is when it wants to go out of the park.

I realize he is in a pretty bad slump but he is a great outfielder and the leading home run hitter. I dont see how any coach would bench that.

We have some talented freshman and I really think the pressure is getting to LL. I think Mahtook is close to being an everyday starter. Why even play LL when Jones returns in a couple weeks.

With Leon's speed, he should be forced to BUNT every at bat even with 2 outs at least he would have a fighting chance of beating it out, moving a runner over, forcing an error or something!!!! Damn the strikeouts are rally killers! The only thing you are sure of is that he won't hit ya into a double play!

once he beats out a bunt for a single let him swing away, but if he K's in his next at bat it is back to BUNTS!

Last week when the pressure was on and Landry came up to bat, coach pulled him aside and told him that if he wants to stay the starter he better step up.
