Yeah it's just one of the things that bugs a pitcher early in the season. You're on a stiff pitch count when they can't hit the side of the barn. Then the pitch count starts climbing with the batting averages. I know all about the colder weather and more likelihood of injury for pitchers, but it was always something on a warmer early game that you wished the pitch counts weren't there
