Actually, most in here seem to want to keep it the way it is...

Zardon has had 2 chances at 3rd & in his last game there, he had 2 official errors & at least 3 others that he was given a big benefit of the doubt on. Robertson at 2nd has also been given several chances over the past year and a half. CPM was quoted all summer/Fall long as being worried about 3rd, so this is nothing new & nothing he has not given a lot of thought to.

I liked when CPM had Sciambra lead off as DH. He was a good spark up there. I'd like to see Stevenson batting 9th with Fraley and Foster hitting 6th and 8th.

Totally disagree, hate Sciambra leading off. K's way too much. We don't have ideal leadoff guys, I say put Laird there, he's almost perfect for the spot, and find someone else to plug in at 2. Maybe Hale, then you can adjust the rest of the lineup up a spot.

Laird
Bregs
Hale
Sciv
Chi
Stevie
Sciambra/Zardon
Fraley
Foster

I like that more than what we presently have...

ETA: I see Bregs ultimately being a leadoff guy once he goes pro.

I was thinking the same thing.
Laird 1
Hale 2
Bregs 3
Civic/Chinea? 4????

I would NOT take Fraley out, just not hit him leadoff.

I never thought about Bregman moving to the #2, but I like the idea of Laird hitting leadoff, leaving the 2 open. Who better here than Bregman? I like your lineup.

Exactly. And both of them can get themselves to 2nd at a fairly high rate without us wasting an out.

He does K a bit too much. Then maybe switch Fraley/Laird and Stevenson/Foster. I still like Stevenson turning over the lineup compared to Foster and maybe it will take some pressure off Foster. That 9 hole is one of Mainieri's favorite spots.
