I'll also add that bomb Schimpf hit against Arky last year.

yes, sadly enough, its time to start pulling for USCe, OM and Arkansas to beat the likes of Bama, Kentucky and Auburn..

Heathcott is an outfielder.

LSU was recruiting him as a pitcher...and here's his scouting reports by the Yankees...

Here’s a scouting report on his pitching:

quote:

He has a great pitchers build and pitches in the low 90’s from the left side. He locates his pitches well and has an outstanding curve ball with late sharp break that’s clocked at 78 mph. He also mixes in a 78 mph change up. He will change speeds well and kept hitters guessing. Not only does he change speeds on hitters but he changes their eye level too. His breaking ball is his out pitch.

The fact that ZVR and Colvin were both on campus for orientation irritates me to no end.

I looked up their stats and saw that they combined for 2 innings pitched so far this year. Either they are both injured or I missed a transaction somewhere.

I'll be surprised if they can turn this around enough to host a regional. They are playing terribly and might have dug themselves a hole they can't get out of. 4 series losses. 3 SEC series losses....

If they beat SLU, win the rest of their series and win the SEC tournament they will host and possibly get a 7 or 8 seed.

However, the way they are playing right now, calling that a longshot would be an understatement.

I think we'll only finish with 16-17 SEC wins in the regular season. it'll be close.
