I thought that to but a few weekends ago I was told by someone here that on Sunday the game has to be complete after 5.

Might be true, I just can't remember it ever happening in the SEC. They do have different rules on Sunday.

Yeah ... LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, and South Carolina are in. The last spot will either be Vanderbilt or Kentucky. Tennessee, Auburn, and Mississippi State are out.

Actually, wet wood is a conductor of electricity.
I have cut through electric wires twice in my business and had a neon blue ball float up right in front of me. The knife I was using had a U burnt into the steel blade by the current and I felt not even the slightest shock.

I haven't read all the posts so I don't really know what the current situation is other than a rain delay. I imagine that's the same front that blew through here last night. It was overall a very brief and heavy rain/lighting/hail/wind event that should pass through in plenty of time to allow the game to finish. There were no tornadoes or real damaging occurences.
Of course, that could have changed between here and there but not likely. Also, it is considerably cooler now than before it came through.

Yea like the "have to leave to catch a plane" rule. Maybe that's why it would be a completion so if a delay happens like this you can call it. That wouldn't make a team playing for post season tourney very happy.
