LOL... That's a stupid comparison. This is an LSU sports forum with a baseball thread. It's not even the OT Lounge.
The thread is meant for baseball. For the most part, let's keep it that way.

Whatever. I remember the last time LSU won the title we had rally boob and rally crawfish in-game threads. Hell, Rally Sally was a big thing. I don't recall too many complaints and the majority I believe enjoyed it and put a smile on their faces.

I enjoy the rally pictures but they sure do slow down the loading of the game thread when I'm at Alex Box and try to get information such as pitch count. I think AT&T has a weak signal there or all the metal in the grandstand roof inhibits a good signal.
Maybe the size of the photos could be managed better?
A photo can be re-sized by adding "width = XXX" after the .jpg on the photo, where XXX equals 350 or so, which makes the picture much more manageable to load without losing the, er.....beauty of the content.

That's actually not a bad idea...two separate threads. It should be up to the person doing PBP. When they kick off the thread, they can say it's either restricted or open to these rally posts in in title.
Then, if someone wants to create the opposite, they can do the PBP and create another one. People can go in either one they want. There's more than enough people posting in those threads that another can be created. If nobody wants to do the second PBP, then tough. It's the original PBP person's call in their thread, however they decide.
Obviously, all this has to meet forum posting guidelines in any case.

Hell, we're talking BASEBALL here, all sorts of traditions and superstitions are involved. It's part of the game culture. "Slump buster" is a term for sleeping with an unattractive woman, because once, somebody did that, and broke out of a slump.
I just read that Kramer Robertson splashes Zach Watson in the face with a cup of water after every homerun, because he did it playfully once, and Watson hit another afterwards.
I watched the Clemson game last night, and half the Clemson players look like they haven't seen a razor since early May.
Some guys have hats that look like they are used for toilet paper, they are so nasty.
Point is, baseball is full of "lucky charms" for both the players and the fans, always has been. Game threads with posts of girl pics (let's go!) is part of this.
If you're at a party with kids, maybe watching the stream and interacting with the other people at the party, instead of refreshing a forum thread on your phone or tablet, might be the better action.

I think last night was pretty bad, I was trying to read the game thread and watch the game online, and there were so many gifs and pictures it was making my stream lag. I like them but maybe lets not spam them when we are up 5

Or MAYBE, refresh every few minutes so i can interact INSTEAD OF staring at a stream.
