I don't like the idea of moving Ott out of the closers' role but sometimes you have to do something like that to straighten things out....

Somebody needs to be in panic mode. This team is faltering. Not only is our pitching less than it should be, but as a team, we're not hitting the ball. Some are, but not the team as a whole. Batting averages don't tell the story. Hits in midweek games shouldn't even count in the averages.

Swap the roles of Ross and Ott and just see what happens. Ross is usually good for a couple of innings.

Guys, before this series started this was the second best record the Tigers have had at this point in the season. Only the 97 team had a better record.....Baseball is a funny sport....this could be the only weekend where Ole Piss hits the ball
