Absolutely. I think everyone knew that Coleman would emerge as an ace after his 6+ ERA as a freshman.

you can argue all you want but losing the 2 stud pitchers in this past class will hurt us at least a little

Not if we replace them with other stud pitchers. Obviously losing them isn't ideal but to be concerned about the future because we lost 2 stud pitchers is overly dramatic to say the least. What stud pitchers were on the 2008 CWS team? Verdugo? Martin?

All the hitters just look off balance today. Taking fastballs right over the plate and way early on the constant diet of slow breaking balls.

A HR would be a good thing right about now.

i meant Jmitch and Ryno Schimpf, I pegged schimpf on here as a guy who I thought could really hit after that first year. You failed to mention Dean, a freshmen who came in big time.

I'm talking about that one class, not doubting we can't have great recruiting classes afterward

As did Mahtook and Ott(who will be on the team another season). By the way, Dean just proves my point. Even IF this class proves to be less than stellar then there is no reason to believe that PM will not land stellar classes going forward. Which means you shouldn't be concerned about the future.

wtf is this 20 questions? I'm concerned about the impact one class might have on the team for a year or two. Its that simple.
