And thats fair, but id ask him, daniel, we need you to, while we are short on arms. I believe he just doesnt want to though, because he never has let players at lsu do both other than bain when he ran out of options

groundout 4-3, 1-2-3 inning for Moffitt!

neither did Skip. Never understood that, especially back then when it was much more common to see. Tim Hudson could rake in college. Brad Wilkerson was an awesome two way too, and I feel like State always had a guy do both

I’m right there with you. I’d have let him pitch this year too. We saw him briefly last year, didn’t we? I don’t think I’m making that up

Eades by all accounts was a hell of a hitter, probably better than he was on the mound.

Nope, he pitched last year and was throwing 90-91. But paul wanted him to concentrate on hitting. And i get that while he is a freshman, but now?

speaking of Eades, would anyone have ever guessed he'd still be pitching in AAA (or even make it that far for that matter)

Yeah, Cabrera pitched a few innings of opening day, right?
Know his family, they thought he would pitch more.
Not sure what happened with that.

righty Burton now pitching for R-Kansas

top 9, Cabrera leading off

swing and a miss, 0-1
lands foul down the left field line between 3 R-Kansas fielders, 0-2
mirror image of last year's CWS...
flyout to deep center
