Just a little pride to swallow. Last year it was Illinois. And Tennessee.

Tough loss. They fought hard. Kind of saw this loss coming with Kansas' ace and us without Ranaudo. We easily win tonight with Ranaudo on the mound. Baseball, you lose some games!

HUGE props to Kansas' closer for having an amazing 2.1 IP performance.

I believe we have problems with good pitching. We mostly wait it out until the starter gets tired and we bust the pen. But the pen had good pitching tonight.

I hope Renaudo comes back because with Bourgeois laying an egg this could become another football and basketball season in a hurry.

Not often you see a team bring in a closer for a 2.1 inning save, but Kansas did it and did it big time tonight.

Bad omen for tonight: the intro video was played without audio.

seems Kansas burned their closer tonight, and may be unavailable or ineffective for the entire weekend.

Mainieri said since Ross didn't pitch tonight that he will start tomorrow instead of Sunday.

Most teams do. That's why it's a good idea not to give up 9 runs before the 5th inning.

Without LSU handing the game to Kansas with the errors/hit batsmen this one isn't even close.

They ended the game with a good amount of hits, but they really didn't hit as much as the stats made it seem. A lot of bloopers on pitches they were fooled on that just seemed to fall in. They hit 2-3 balls hard all night and one of those Mahtook dropped in the palm of his glove.

Just got back home from the game. Props to their closer, but the guy behind the plate did as much to confuse the Tigers as the opposing pitchers did. That ump was truly horrific.
