YIPPEE! Thanks, G! I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss anytime.

Ugh. I'll take it, but jeez we gotta wake up for these midweek games. Paul and the boys need a little Come to Jesus talk.

It was a tough game, and against Harvard at that, however, tomorrow all that matters is the fact it shows up as a win.

I'll take midweek struggles followed by SEC series victories all year long.

they won, but can't see where anybody would be happy about the way they played. i bet they are not happy with the way they played.

G, lord knows I'll take ugly wins any day. Just really want to see this team play consistently up to their potential, especially against inferior competition.

But 18-5 is better than 17-6.

Always room for improvement no matter how good you are. With that said, they won so STFU. Tomorrow it shows up as a W.

And das Tiger.....who is overrated is you, as a LSU fan, moron.

It happens in the midweek. You don't pitch your best starters, you don't use your best relievers (well, they did use Ott tonight), you play around with your lineup. The team is not going to play up to its potential in the midweek.

I'm certainly aware of that, and I was very pleased with the pitching. Two of the runs were scored on wild pitches, after all. The bats seem to just be tinkering too much with their mechanics, trying to do things they wouldn't otherwise do. I understand the concept of using midweek games to work on stuff, but we are better (even with a few reserves) than a 4-3 win over Harvard.

Happy with the win and a lot of the things we did, just lacking some of the clutch hitting.

By the way, Hanover

Hanover has done awesome all year. Came in and forced his way into the lineup before the first SEC series.

He just has some amazing bat speed. He gets it through the zone perhaps faster than anyone on the team. Yeah, he doesn't have as far to go as everyone being 5-6, but he's been one of the most impressive freshmen LSU has seen in years. Ott as well.

Just gotta work a bit on adjusting to lefties is all. Then, this team will be unstoppable.

Does anybody here happen to know any other 2-12 teams out there or teams with records similar to that?
