Shocking, simply shocking. And Miles is on the hottest of hot seats. Look for LSU to suck royally in 16.

7th in the SEC was what I heard, that would probably be 3rd in the West, which sounds familiar.

Yeah it sounds like every team not named bama. I swear some of our fans see bama winning all these national titles and they think we are just a different coach away. There are reason programs like bama are historically good. They go spend 7 million to lure saban back to cfb and they up his salary everytime there is mention of him leaving. A few seasons ago bama was literally spending 8 times what we spent on recruiting. Its closer now but thats the difference in talent. Bama never stops upgrading facilities. They spend money to redo BDS.

What? we basically went 10-3 last year with a bunch of sophomores and you think we get worse? Ive never understood why ao many lsu living in the golden age of lsu football always think we will suck when our shite seasons are CLEARLY the outlier seasons.

Horrible offensive play calling

If lsu has such shite playcalling how did we finish 4th in the sec in offensive yards per game and 3rd in the sec in offensive points per game?

You people do realize you can look this shite up before posting something ignorant, right?

His assessment of the spring game was pretty much spot on, if we cant throw down the filed its going to be 9 guys up front every time LF7 gets the ball. .

Except he said Brandon was 8-11 for 60 when he was 11-15 for 106 while making accurate short to intermediate throws. LSU has always thrown deep with Cameron and it does not work so I think the spring was a success and Sallee was not spot on with his assessment.

We beat and had the 2nd most offensive yards given up all season on the 7th best defense in cfb. Florida.

Say what you want our offense wasn our problem. We gave up 20 points to all but 2 teams and one of those we gave up 19 points. If our passing game gets more efficient our offense will be fine.

Our deep ball was decent last year. Our deep ball was the one aspect of the passing game you could point to and say it was a strength.
lsu was 8th in thhe country in yards per completion

Brandon Harris threw 126 passes in November

You are correct, my bad. I'm cautiously optimistic I think Harris steps it up and man do we have some horses if he can, also gives Leonard a bit more room.

Which is why i said our passing efficiency needs to improve. Other than that our offense didnt struggle all year.

If harris can up his completion % to 59% we will be a force on offense against anyone.

i meant it's done nothing for them as far as winning a championship so maybe less deep balls more shorter passes and screens. Which we saw in the spring game.

I liked the new wrinkles we added from the a&m game to the bowl game. I also think harris makes a big leap from his 2nd to 3rd year. Most qbs in a prostyle offense make their biggest jump then.
I think Cam being on the sidelines helped a great deal too.

WTF man.

If Saban had been at LSU all this while we would absolutely have more national championships.

You don't remember how shitty Alabama was pre-Saban?

There is a huge history of Alabama football being absolute shite too

It has nothing to do with anything other than they have Saban and he puts together ridiculous recruiting classes and is a tremendous coach.. Period. He would be just as much of a beast here with his coaching and recruiting classes as he is there.

Well it was clear that Harris struggled on short and intermediate throws. Its one of the more odd things ive seen. Usually young qbs struggled with deep ball throws and have decent short throws and Harris was the exact opposite. I think they called more deep routes because harris was struggling with screens and short timing routes.
