She'll probably be saying the same thing about Bama and Tuscaloser next year from Seattle after Washington fires Ty Willingham and Sexton gets Emmert to give his boy $4.5 mil a year!

That part isn't B.S. Saban did come to regret leaving LSU (still does), and Teri never wanted to leave.

This is a message board and generally lacks rationale when it comes to these issues....so you are trying to refute something that people don't want the true answer to. They'll never understand it or believe it, good luck.

the fact is he is the Bama coach...I don't care if he used to coach LSU, if he cures cancer or if he single handedly keeps Obama from being elected (all of which I would be grateful for)...but he's the coach at Bama. Let me say it again, Bama, and he will be treated accordingly.

She and Terri Saban are close friends and she revealed why the Sabans left for Miami. She said that Coach Saban turned Wayne Heizenga down three times. Said they loved Baton Rouge and LSU and were not interested in going to Miami. Mrs. Dooley said the final decision was that wayne offered them any house they wanted and offered Terri $500,000.00 to decorate the house and they took the deal.

She said they alwasy regreted leaving Baton Rouge and they didn't like Miami at all. Said they were happy to be back in college.

You think we didn't already know this stuff? You think that Barb Dooley just broke the story today on Finebaum? Get a life dude and realize that Saban is a POS and everyone that has ever worked in the athletic department or has every met the guy knows as much, unless of course you are a serious booster. I've had my experiences with the guy and it's not a joke, he's a prick. Always has been.

Nick Saban did alot for LSU and i will always be greatfull to him.

But that doesnt mean i pull for him at Bama either.

I hope we beat the hell out of Bama everytime we play them.

But no matter what everyone here thinks the man is not the devil and evil. He is a good coach and i think he realized he could have an effect on kids lives in college. Once they get to the pros they are men and do whatever they want.

It is the fans of Bama that take everything way too far and think they are Gods gift to all of us.

I am happy that we have Coach Miles and i think the LSU program is slotted in the top tier programs right now and will be for awhile assuming we recruit like we have.

He didn;t become a true pariah in the eys of the vast majority of LSU fans until he took a job in the SEC. And not just in the sEC...in the SECW! Part of his job description, basically, is now to see that LSU fails by virtue of BAMA suceeding. That's just the plain truth. So while he gets credit for aiding the rise of LSU to where it was when he left, he deserves a swift kick in his tiny sack for SEEKING OUT a job that would put him directly in opposition with what he's been running around telling everyone he loves.

That pretty much sums up what I feel about Saban. It's funny that he was very surprised by the backlash of LSU towards him once he took the Bama job. He even said that he and Bill Belichek were still friends even when they competed against each other.

The thing is, it's either us who is on top, or someone else is. He contributed to building LSU, but now he is actively working to prevent LSU from reaching its goal. He is indirectly trying to "tear down" LSU by building up Bama.

This BS about Saban loving Baton Rouge and LSU is just a ploy for him to heal hurt feelings, and mainly expand his HS recruiting into Louisiana.

Any multi-millionaire like Saban could buy a second home in a high end BR neighborhood to vacation, and let his wife/kids chill there during holidays etc.

Why doesn't Saban have a second home in BR if he and wifey loved it so much, nothing keeps him from getting a second home now!!

The Sabans could live in BR full time when he retires if they love it so much!...NOT GONNA HAPPEN....Who still believes Saban's BS ?

Interesting I guess.

I always sort of figured that Saban was interested in going to the pros because he had worked there under BB

Although I do think it was a mistake for Nick to leave... IMO he is better suited to be a college coach... he's an outstanding recruiter and likes to control the whole organization... that's pretty tough to do in the pros
