The pipes music is painful.
It totally takes the crowd out of the game.

The north endzone including the band got pretty wild last night when they played the defensive third down song.

What are talkng about. Have you watched half-time this year? Best in ten years.

Yes, they've been brutal. And again, the big screens stayed blank for about six minutes after the band got off the field at halftime. What a waste of resources.

Well the students proved they didn't need the band to make vulgar chants, so there's that

Not talking about the traditional GTHOM one. There was another one that was something about eat shite.

I can't stand the blaring piped in music. I sat with friends in the north end zone last night and at times, the volume of the canned music reached migraine-producing levels. That said, it's gotten to the point where you can't hear the band anymore when they play in the stands. Maybe the choice of music has something to do with it or maybe it's due to the decrease in size. Can we mic them up?

Because people used to yell"a-hole - a-hole" during the refrain. It offended the politically correct crowd, so they banned it!
yeah years ago when they first stopped playing it. I never really heard it in recent years

i think it's a combination of both. The trumpets are way down this year so they lose a lot of power because of that but also some of the arangements they've been adding aren't too powerful arrangements

I was sitting in the West side club seating and I couldn't even hear the damn band. It was pitiful.

However, the music got the sexy arse Ole Miss chicks sitting next to me pumped up, so I was good with it.

I don't know who's responsible, but someone in the past 5 or so years has really screwed up the band and it's sad. What was once the best band in collegiate athletics, has become a shell of its former self.

So what song is it that annoyed you so much? I'm fairly confident there isn't a single show tune in their repitorie this year.

"Fairly confident", define that....

I'm not sure, but it could have be "Man of La Mancha".

Why, are you a big Showtune person?

TGBFTL has no swag. Needs to borrow a few arrangements from SU.

Ole miss ' s band has a better song selection. They played the game of thrones theme a few times. Had a few other ones I liked...but can't remember them. I felt guilty for bobbing my head to them a few times.
