You need to be challenged quite a few times each season, and they have routinely had a BS schedule of late.

If you don't have to perform at your highest level week in and week out, you begin to slip a bit...

That’s why Clemson plays such a tough schedule

Yep, even LSU, which was probably their toughest game, was a cupcake.

With extra frosting lol...

Clemson didn’t play a tough schedule. Didn’t seem to be a problem for them.

OP is talking about regular season and schedule pre- LSU. They weren't challenged early and it bit them in the long run. Not very hard to understand.

All about OL. Don't have it going against them. Need to get it. And WRs catching passes and not dropping them as well as blocking in the running game would help too. Last two games LSU offense played looks encouraging.

Who did LSU play that Alabama didnt? Florida?

Alabama played Oklahoma
Alabama played Auburn
Alabama played A&M
Alabama played Georgia

Are we now saying that the Miami game is the difference between playing a cupcake schedule and playing a monster schedule?

Its not hard to understand, its hust stupid logic when you consider the team that destroyed them played an even easier schedule.
Also its stupid when you consider most years they play an easy schedule, and still win it all. They just got beat that night, all there is to it

Clemson did not have a daunting schedule. But Bama was suppose to be a better team. Even more pathetic for Bama that they lost if you think about it.

And yes Bama has played easy schedules in the past. But this schedule pre LSU was pathetically easy. They typically get a first game with a team with a pulse and they did not even get that this past year. And their schedule for 2020 maybe even easier pre-LSU. It is all relative. Your argument is a fail, OP is right, great thread and have a nice day without slipping on a banana peel:)>

It's hard to understand when an ACC team just beat the shite out of them while playing an even weaker schedule.

WRONG!!! That would mean it is even more terrible for Bama they did not beat them. Bama was suppose to be better and head and shoulders above everyone. They were not challenged until late in season. Clemson actually was challenged by an up and coming and pesky Syracuse team who played over their heads. So actually Clemson's schedule was easy on the surface but offered a challenge early on when Bama's schedule was so easy and their opponents so weak they had a cake walk before November with no challenges. Yes, not hard to understand.
