Obviously given the fact that they are the only undefeated team earns them their shot. I fully accept that. I was simply stating the frustrating reality of life in the SEC.

NotreDame has: a 3 point win against 4-8 Purdue, a 3 point triple OT win against 5-6 Pitt, a 3 point win against 7-5 BYU a 7 point win against Mich (destroyed by Bama) a 9 point win against 7-5 Trojans I guess their best win is Oklahoma. They finish 7th in the SEC.

The point is they WON all of their GAMES! We did not. NO ONE IN THE SEC did. So LET IT GO!
They have a fine fotball team and played a good schedule. They did BEAT very Talented Stanford Team who will likely wipe the arse of UCLA and Whoever they play in the Rose Bowl. Albeit, the refs gave the game to ND.

It has its pros and cons.

Pros: a loss doesn't put anyone out of title contention (if to a relevant SEC team), sometimes even two.

Cons: having to play 2-4 top 10 teams on a yearly basis (which can be beneficially as well)

Good defense, questionable offense, and close wins over teams they should beat soundly? Notre Dame sounds pretty damn SEC to me. They might as well be LSUv2.

Exactly, ND and LSU are similar in many ways.

I am not saying Irish have not earned a shot at a championship. Just think they are about as good as the top 6 SEC teams, this year.

Nobody hates the Iwish more than I but ill give them more respect than you do. They won the two most difficult games on their schedule and no one else in the SEC did.

They will be a good test for Bama. Ironically I think aggy would have a better chance against them than the gumps

let me guess. you are one of the posters who believed nd would be lucky to go 7-5.

no matter how well some of these teams do there will always be someone who says they are not shite.

for a team that many people on here said that would go 6-6 at most they sure accomplished a hell of a lot more.

I though ND looked pretty good against USC. I think they will give either Alabama or Georgia all they can handle.

LSU beat 9 ranked teams last year in the final polls.

OSU and ND combined have beaten 6 ranked teams in the current top 25. What does this suggest to you?

Stanford lost to Washington a team we utterly destroyed
If we had just beat Washington I would say Stanford might be decent. But we destroyed wash!

Nd does not have a great D they have played no one!

Michigan was wiped out by Bama and played ND a very close game. When a team shows great dominance it says something.

Pitt missed a chipshot FG to win the game!!!

Bama 48 ND 10

Agree. Another reason that CFB is completely screwed up. It is too much a beauty contest. I hope that UGA or 'Bama beats ND by at least 50.
