sure since saban has been there. they sucked for awhile before he was hired. They were exactly like LSU if not worse. One decent team, then 5 that sucked arse, then maybe another decent team, then arse sucking again. that's why bama set records in head coaching salary when they hired nick, and through the years, they've made sure they kept him happy there.

You cant sit there with a straight face and say LSUs talent is so far from the of Bama to justify the shitshow of the State and Missouri loses.

Coaching plays a major part. Is LSus talent on par with Bama, I dont believe so but it isn't far enough off that State and Mizzou should happen period

They had the number one recruiting class almost every year. When they weren’t first, they were second. Saban is a great coach, but he’s built a program that makes it easy to win with 5 stars.

The absolute obsession y’all have with Bama is absurd. Saban is gone, get over it

maybe you need to stop knighting Orgeron. Let him fight his battles.

Yeah we will never be Alabama.

Coach O is nowhere near Saban.

You forget Bama took a 3* running back and he won the Heisman trophy. Coaching does matter

The top 3 recruiting schools in the country are the top 3 every year in the playoffs. We have a talent issue just as much as a DC issue. Vandy was destroying our DL.

Maybe it is coaching.. more likely year over year recruiting, maintaining talent levels and roster balance. We are about to load up with another great class. And extend the depth and talent at key position groups.

Realistically 2021 was the year. Very hard to stay at the same level with 19 starters gone.. plus no spring for the new guys.

Saban has built Bama for the long haul to contend every year

Ed O built LSU for one single year

Saban gets a top notch recruiting class every year. Orgeron is putting together his third great class in a row. But the class we are depending on this year - the class that has to replace 18 of 22 starters - is the 2018 class. This was Orgeron’s first real class, because 2017 was 2/3s assembled by Miles. The 2018 class is truly terrible.

There are only six ballers in that class: Marshall, Chase, Hines, Baskerville, Rosenthal and Jaray Jenkins. And Chase skedaddled. Next season we will start to flush the 2018 class. We will have the 2019 class as our experienced class that has not yet suffered NFL departures. That class is much better. It already has nine guys who are ballers, and more will develop.

Because our coaches do not know how to or are unwilling to try and convince a junior that staying another year could improve their draft stock from a 3rd or4th round draft pick to a 1st or 2nd round draft pick. Meanwhile, Saban and his people can....and he knows how to coach up.

But, yeah baby, we be NFLSU!!! wWe had 14 players taken in the draft......and most of them were juniors and we on tigerdroppings at least, cheer this shite on like we think these guys are gonna give us money or something.

They are able to get players like leatherwood, devonte smith, d Moses to return. That’s a big difference.

Bama has a dynasty and a machine LSU isn't there with them. LSU hasn't proven they can sustain that's the next evolution for Coach O that he has to master.
