Did our offense play poorly vs SCAR? It wasn't lights out but was it really that poor? I think we're making it worse. The memory of 1/9 is compounding things. This will be a game, not a ring kissing ceremony for the Gumps.

OF COURSE Alabama can be beat. Why do you people think they walk on freaking water? We can beat anybody so long as we don't turn the ball over.

This. LSU hasn't had an explosive offense since 2006 or maybe 2007. Yet we have beaten Bama 2 out of the past 3 by playing conservative offensively, limiting mistakes, strong special teams play and hitting an occasional big play. Love or hate that approach to a game but THAT is vintage Les Miles and it works much more often than not.

LSU is as good as both or will be by the end of the season. I would have liked us to be further along than we are right now but it is what it is.

Go ahead and laugh, but we can play with the best of them with this defense.

This is Some of the dumbest shite I have ever read on here. Calling people quitters, whiners, crybabies, etc just becasue they are realistic and think Bama will beat LSU because they have a better coach, better OC coach, better QB, better offense. Most are not saying Bama will beat the hell out of LSU just to bash Miles, its becasue they see the glaring atrocious poor excuse of an offense Miles runs week after week and anoyone with one ounce of common sense knows without the D playing 110% all game LSU can not go point for point against Bama.

I think LSUs football team and fans could not be farther apart when it comes to mental strength. Many fans just crumble like cookies at the sight of a challenge.

No. It's not calling out the criticizors. It's calling out the quitters with no heart that are conceding the game 2 weeks ahead of time.

Absolutely. The most negative are always the loudest. Proof is in the pudding here

We are getting criticized for not being "realistic" and they are the ones calling the outcome of the game before the ball is snapped.

One coach built 2 teams into powerhouses and has won 3 national titles... the other has won one national title and sustained a powerhouse... now which one is the better coach?

Mental strength? We're fans. The biggest challenge we face is figuring out what we're drinking, and where to park. Get a grip on reality.

Exactly. I could be the biggest LSU fan in the country. But by watching this putrid excuse of an offense week after week and then in my own mind thinking LSU doesnt have enough to beat Bama, that makes me a quitter and throwing in the towel? Its how I think and feel no matter how much I like LSU. Two teams play and one will always get picked to lose and if that happens to be LSU once in a while, so be it.

Yes Bama is beatable but we don't have the team composition to beat them.

You need a very physical defense +1 LSU
You need strong kicking game +1 LSU

You need efficient, smart, balanced offense -5 LSU
