Bama and Texas looking like this makes me feel a whole lot better

All it shows me is that with just a competent offense, we’d be a playoff lock.

Instead we’ll have 3-5 losses

Yeah all it shows me is what we knew all along. There are no good teams this year just like last year. Try to win 10 games and sneak in like Ohio state did and go on a run

And a shout out to Penn State.

All it tells me is that there's not much separating LSU, Florida and Texas.

It doesn’t make me feel better, but it’s more proof that it’s very hard to be consistently good to great offensively.

Sark has proven to be an ELITE offensive mind in the not distant past, but he’s never had a truly great offense at UT, and this season they are struggling worse than we are. We moved the ball a hell of a lot more effectively vs UF than they are.

Ryan Grubb at Bama is another who has fielded some elite offenses. His Bama offense has definitely improved over week one, but they are still inconsistent and streaky. And that’s with a QB who is healthy and playing pretty well.

It’s not a cop-out and it really doesn’t have anything to do with LSU directly. It just shows it’s very hard for any OC to consistently field great offenses. And if you don’t have an elite OC, the swings will be bigger and the floor much lower.
