Does anybody know if Bama has had a multi HR game this year? I keep thinking the crew will tell me.

I just figured it all out. We recruited based on the traditional bats. We had no forethought in recruiting guys who would be able to hit with these bats.

Furthermore, we recruited pitchers who....uh wait...Don't know what to say there.

Maybe next week we'll be back!

who that gets legitimate playing time is going to get run off?

I would say there are 4 guys in the lineup today that will definitely be in the lineup opening night next season. Katz, Rhymes, Jones, and Hanover. Mahtook is obviously gone, and I think Nola is also...but if not you can definitely put him on the list.

As for the other position players, can you point out anyone else on the roster that is safe from not being run off or seeing a significant decrease in PT? Ross is about the safest one, and we're bringing in two other catchers he'll have to compete with.

Some will obviously still be around, but they'll be relegated to late inning mop-up duty and spot weekday starts, and not competing for serious PT.

you just named 7 of the 9 starters. first base and lf has been musical chairs all season. i don't see edward nor watkins being "run off".

Right, with only 4 of them definitely penciled in to start game #1 next year and continue to play a major role.

Gonna state the obvious; there evidently are some major issues on this team... not just coaching issues... the post-season basically rides on this game and they lay an egg???
