No... but if they have another Charlie Mac reunion try and sneak in to the PMac and talk to some of the players from that team. Art was a really nice guy when he was sober. People I know, never had any problems with him.

If Art would not have been on the football team, the BR police would have beaten him half to death with batons and a judge would have sent his arse to Angola.

Cantrelle, but Jose Vargas was a black belt (a black belt in a huge body had to be intimidating). These two have already been mentioned, I just didnt read 12 pages, sorry

Arthur Cantrelle from somewhere along Bayou Lafourche was the 'Badest Dude EVER to play football for LSU'. He was the oustanding high school player in the state of Mississippi his junior year in Biloxi(his family were shrimpers) and then went to South Lafourche for his senior year and was named the high school player of the year in Louisiana!!!
This guy was 'Bad To The Bone'...never, ever met a guy he wouldn't whup!!!

Eric Hill(Galveston Ball HS), Billy Lofton(Deridder), Gwain Debetta(Holy Cross-New Orleans), Don Schwab(Houma)are close seconds.

I saw Harry Coleman get pissed at someone in the rec one time. I was scared for the guy he looked ready to beat down. The guy was trying to pick a fight with him too. It was unreal.

Harry was still a cool guy though.

Didn't read the whole thread, but Stovall was a badass, but underrated.

Anybody in the 50's/60's is badder than anybody since.

When I met Laron his jr. year he didn't seem that intimidating compared to some other guys on the team.

Art Cantrell, definitely

Erik Andolsek would have been a handful.

Michael Brooks, Marquise Hill, and Alan Faneca...

Although contrary to his public personality, Glen Dorsey was pretty fearsome when riled up.

For a smaller athlete, Kevin Faulk was reportedly pretty good with his fists.
