I said that was my list of who I thought would play the soonest. The fact that your only quarrel is that the last two guys on my list should be swapped tells me it wasn't a bad list.

Is anyone calling out Minter for not living up to hype? He played relatively well last year and will be really good this year in the middle with better guys on the outside with him.

NFL.com has Minter graded as the 5th best LB prospect in the 2013 draft as a freaking junior. We need someone to step up on the outside and it seems Chavis finally has a real arsenal to work with. We have every reason to be optimistic about the future of our LBs.

Dude, we recruit highly rated LBs every year. You have to go back to Trev Faulk to find our last true stud LB.

Kwon and Debo may contribute sooner, but Lamar Louis will eventually emerge as the best of the group IMO.
Regardless, it's a studly haul of backers the likes of which we have never seen at LSU.

We have never had a freshman group of lbs like this at Lsu. Really exciting.
A far as recruiting of linebackers, it's been pretty slim as far as highly rated guys. Baker and minter were the only two no doubt studs. Thank god Riley and sheppard worked out so well. It's really been a matter of Louisiana not producing quality prospects, which was not the case last year.

I've been saying Debo is special, but rumor is , Chavis really likes Louis. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait! My B'day is at the end of July and I've always considered the start of fall camp a secondary gift to myself. Come on August!!!
