quote:it was. Thank god aranda and brady carried the trash to a title. They all left with burrow and O had nobody to save him and we see why he was the worst coach in the history of ole miss football. He’s a trash coach and even worse person. Thank god he’s gone after these last two terrible years. It looks like the 90s
2019 was so fricking awesome.. Too bad you missed it.

Have to look at the big picture and what he accomplished by publicly announcing early and letting him finish. Smart move on Woodward's part.

You obviously are obliberous on a contractual buyout. Coach O cannot adversely speak ANYTHING against the school. It is a condition of the agreement. If he does he violates the agreement and loses his buyout.

Anyone who claims that this current situation doesn’t marginalize recruiting is simply in denial. Who would want to send their five-star recruit to LSU today?

This isn't the business world though, its way more competitive.
There's no reason to keep Ed on until the end of the season. In fact, I can see more reasons why it makes no sense than to find reasons why it makes sense.
According to TBL, hanging around was Orgerons wish. Woody gave him fill buyout, there is no reason to keep him around.
You start building for the future now. More harm than good will come of this arrangement.

Woody and high achievers don't think like that. Woody still got schooled.
If you fire a guy you fire the fricker. Every single person who has ever been in management can tell you why our current situation is the worst possible.
So is this the last gasp of the O sycophants? Trashing Woodward on the way down. Woodward did the EXACT same thing with Ty Willingham, they fired him 7 games in and let him finish the season. UW went 0-11 that year. The next year they were 5-7.

"riding the season out" is a terrible way to look at this, if that's what LSU is doing. You take steps now to shore things up.
They did take the biggest step to shore things up, they’re getting rid of O. You are confusing big picture with little picture. There’s nothing important you can do beyond that until the new coach is hired. Winning a couple more games does nothing. This season is lost
