Mate what did you think of the World famous Superdome? It's an architectural marvel and the only surviving 1970s, 1980s or 1990s era major league dome. It has also served as a sort of "Noah's Ark" for the population of its city.

How about y’all will lose a shite load of games if you’re using a team that lost all but 39 scholarship (zero DBs or LBs and new Oline with starters out in the secondary and obviously losing the best playmaker on defense in q1) players and didn’t have a recruiting cycle to get enough players in or really implement the full playbook as a measuring stick. This is what we call a COMPLETE gutting and rebuild. Norvell has been there 3 seasons. Let that shite sink in….

I was there last night as well. I am a LSU grad and attended with my daughter, FSU grad. Arrived Saturday night and stayed downtown NOLA. FSU fans greatly outnumbered LSU fans and were out in force Saturday night. FSU fans are good people, and most of them know college football. Living in Florida I can easily say that Gator fans are the worst, closely followed by the Miami fans. Game experience was electric and in our section almost everyone stood up for the entire game. FSU fans were loud and the tomahawk chop is dumb. Not quite as dumb as the Gator chomp. I felt LSU was clearly outplayed by FSU and the game should not have been close. I was very disappointed in the Defensive line and from my advantage point the right side of the offensive line got gashed. Mason Taylor #86 attended the same high school as my kids, St Thomas Aquinas. Kid is a player but has to learn to block. Superdome is kind of a mess right now as they go through their renovations. To use the facilities you had to exit the stadium and then go to a temporary facility outside. I think LSU will be fine but as many have pointed out this team had only 39 players before Kelly came in. New Orleans is clearly one of the top places to host a major football game.

Norvell said he made a bad call and won’t call that one again.

As someone who saw him up close a lot at Memphis, he will absolutely continue doing shite like that. If he had taken the points instead of going on 4th down the earlier in the game, the last LSU TD is just a garbage time score to make it closer. He lost several games late at Memphis getting too cute for no reason.

Can’t wait for next year. Y’all lose your QB to the draft and it is a big beat down next year, like 21+.

Revenge in 364 days.

However, this isn't a jab as it hurts LSU more, FSU isn't that good. I think they're a 7 win team. We're that bad.

FSU will win at least 9 games this season. Their remaining “tough” games are @NC State, Clemson at home, @Miami and Florida at home.

I think a lot of people on this board really thought FSU would be a pushover and still aren’t giving them any credit for their win. I mean hell LSU has multiple players that were considering FSU before flipping to us. We knew this would be a rebuilding year and have some growing pains but some of you really need to learn to just take the L. I was proud of my tigers for the way they fought till the end. That 99 yard drive was insane.

And if you think the loss was bad for you, I get to drive 6 hours back to my house in Tallahassee with my 3 diehard FSU friends and get to deal with thousands more when I get there.

Like every college football program out there they all have their idiots including LSU. I didn’t run into any FSU idiots yesterday or Saturday. As a matter of fact a FSU fan bought my daughter and I a round of cocktails Saturday night and another fan bought us coffee Sunday morning. I think people were intrigued that I was in LSU garb and my daughter in FSU stuff.

He’s a very good coach. I just don’t think he’s a championship coach. I actually think Fuente was a better developer and program builder, but Norvell was a far better recruiter.
