Why would you wear black when you are playing a team whose colors are BLACK and gold?
Our colors are purple and gold and all uniforms should be only purple, gold, or white.

I agree we shouldn't wear them, but they weren't terrible uniforms. They were exactly the same as the purple uniforms except not purple. They looked fine. And don't say black is not a school color, because technically neither is white.

Question:

What if instead of gold on black the bball team had purple on black? Like the image below?

I think that would be much better than the previous black jerseys

I didn't agree at first, but I really do like that look. If they change to the new nike uniforms next year maybe they could alter that

Every school in the country has a white uniform. Those black abominations they wore at Tennesse were an embarrassment to the school. Hey, wanna be cool and wear black, then at very minimum have big fricking Gold and PURPLE letters/numerals/stripes on the damn things. There was no purple at all in those uniforms. Our colors are not GD Black and Gold.

I didn't say they were perfect, I think black and purple with gold trim would have been better, but some people act like they were the worst things in the world. They weren't that bad. And fwiw there was purple trim around the gold letters, it was just hard as frick to see.

Hopefully we'll have a brand new set of uniforms next year. I've heard rumors of a rebrand
