Alabama wins with line play. We match up well with anyone at the skill positions, but our OL & DL has been subpar.

Were those linemen on the same level?

Recruit rankings are a crock of shite. They look at talent, not how well a team fills their needs.

Yeah we have had a lot of top 10 classes but we always load up on DB, WR, RB's etc... but only a hand full of them are on the field at one time.

Our elite DL / OL recruits have been few and far between or haven't panned out and xfered are our biggest issue.

Also just because #2 comes after #1, doesn't mean that there isn't a HUGE gap between them, so the difference between #1 and #4 could be monumental IRT the talent that BAMA has stockpiled.

On paper, NOBODY should be able to compete with BAMA, but they do, some even win and we will as well.

Both lines do not adhere to the numbers in the subject line. If you take those position groups, LSU is nowhere near as talented as Bama. That was the misnomer within the Miles era recruiting numbers...great skill positions, average everywhere else.

The no talent idea was planted months ago by coach O as a fall back excuse and the media and fans are letting him get away with it.

We have tons of talent, but not equal amounts in all positions, especially at OL & DL.
