-San Jose on Congress
-St Cecelia, Congress too,
-Van Zandt in Rainey
-South Congress Hotel
-The Line just opened in an old redone radissson
-Hotel Ella by campus

The closest hotel to the stadium is the At@t center run by UT and it’s pretty nice but not super unique other than being UT themed everything

Went to a UT game a couple years ago against Baylor and we stayed at the Double Tree. It’s within walking distance of the stadium and there’s also a Hampton inn right there as well.

Or Pedicab. Austin is like the US Pedicab mecca.

I would avoid the pedicab’s during any big event. They want a minimum of $20-$25 dollars. They are suppose to work on tips only. Man do they get pissed when you hand them a $5 bill. I lived in downtown Austin for 7 years. The bus stop on Congress St was the easiest way for me to get to the stadium.

How is Round Rock? Safe? Easier trek on game day from Round Rock or San Marcos?

Just reserved an airbnb a mile from campus. Always wanted to see a game at UT.

Thoughts on the Intercontinental right off 6th street? I've never been to Austin but aren't the majority of the bars on 6th?

Embassy Suites in Austin for $199/night. That includes a very good breakfast and manager's reception at the hotel.

6th Street is really long. West 6th is like partying in uptown Dallas or Midtown in Houston. Dirty 6th (Original) basically like the worst part of Bourbon street. its not what it once was. East 6th street is where the hipsters are and probably the best bars. not a sports crowd though
