Would really help if we could have a shooter off the bench to kick out to. Hyatt is supposed to be that guy, can Graves not play just a few minutes 2 or 3 three pointers a night would be huge

Hyatt played good defense tonight and is also bigger than Graves.

Graves played a few minutes at VCU. When Smart is off like tonight Graves could play 4-5 min. If teams would play zone Graves would play more

I was at the vcu game, and graves turned the ball over TWICE as soon as he checked in then out of the game. He is/was a walk on for a reason.

Not going to lie Hyatt has basically been a disaster so far this season. Not sure if playing Graves is the answer there.

I'm more questioning what happened to Bishop. Averaged 10 minutes a game then suddenly missing the last 3 games. At least he's a ball handler.

I guess Marlon took all his minutes or there's some injury/suspension we are unaware of.

I never bought into the hype of him being a really good shooter, but I didn’t expect him to be this bad. I think it’s likely nerves and/or the game is a little too fast for him right now.

He’ll get in there and rebound. So there’s that at least.

I think this is mostly it. Dudes coming off knee surgery, not really athletic and you can kinda see he just doesn't want to screw up when hes out there. I think he can develop into a decent player, but right now his shot is just waaaay to slow to get going for him to light the world up.

But I'm not gonna rag on the guy too hard I think hes done well on defense the last 3 games hes played in

I was the same, I remember the hype around him being some sharpshooting 3 point guy, but back in high school I pointed out he shot like 34% from 3, just took a TON of 3's every game. I dont know how much the injury is still affecting him, but 5 for 26 on the season from 3 is pretty much unacceptable. He's also incredibly slow to get his shot off and moving around at times. Long long long way to go there.
