Auburn is going to play well. The good news is that they are just not that good. It took UGA’s qb completely shitting the bed in stretches of that game for Auburn to even have a chance. Those turnovers were awful. Brain farting to the point that you don’t realize you are kicking a field goal and have to run out there and rush as the holder is awful. The roughing the passer penalties were also awful. UGA came out, got up 14 and became disinterested. If LSU comes out and just executes, they will be fine. (That’s a big if based on this team’s road performances). Hopefully , the early kick helps which I believe it will.

Perhaps, but I think that's overplayed. Auburn won the Georgia game because (a) they were rested coming off a bye, and (b) Georgia was beaten up after a brutal game versus Bama. They will still be the fresher team this coming week vs LSU, and they will be sky high at home.

But your second assessment is spot on. In the preseason, pundits had us losing against Auburn as a potential letdown game. That possibility is eliminated by LSU's absolute need for a win, and the fact that Auburn just beat the number one team in the nation.

I think he had one road win(Oklahoma 2025) against a ranked opponent throughout his entire six seasons at Ole Miss. That's kinda worrisome.
