people need to stop stressing about how many people leave the games early and start worrying about the team

I hope someone told him somewhere in this lengthy thread, "yea, and they were playing West Virginia", who almost beat them and should have.

WRONG. If Auburn had been playing Vandy or ULL, the stands would have been half empty by halftime (although LSU's were NOT, as you incorrectly stated).

If LSU were playing WVU, the place would still be packed after the delay.

You are wrong.

eta: just saw this other WRONG quote:

quote:

The first game I ever went to at Tiger Stadium was the Earthquake Game in 1988. That game was unbelievable.

Yes, that game was unbelievable AT THE FINISH. I was there too. It was loud throughout, but NOT as loud as a lot of others. It EXPLODED at the end of a tense, hard fought, sometimes boring defensive battle but was not ear shattering the whole time. Selective memory and fuzzy recollections are killing your credibility, which isn't much when you make WRONG statements comparing the AU fan base to ours.

FAIL.

dead on comment!

its always comical to come on this board and see the amount of "fans" defending pathetic "fan" behavior, yet picking the TEAM and COACHES apart with some of the most assanine speculative insights....

apparently being a homer is juuuuust fine when it comes to defending and making excuses for the "fans".....hahahahahha

im glad i have the friends that i have and tailgate with the crew that i have, many of you are a joke.

I was envious. I hear the old timers talk about what Tiger Stadium used to be like. Wish I could have seen it.

Dude this is such BS. There have been at least 10 games since 03 that were as loud as that stadium has ever been........or ANY friggin' game at Jordan Hare.

The Georgia game in 03 off the top of my head. Florida 07.

having a great team every year and playing many tough games during the day may have something to do with this

Jordan Hare was louder from start to finish than any game I've ever been to in Death Valley. gonna have to disagree here

I was at Jordan Hare last year and it was plenty loud. But they started leaving in the 4th with their team still in the game. Also, it was not louder than any game i have ever been at in Tiger Stadium.

See, I was at the earthquake game as well, my memory is not fuzzy...it was very loud the whole game. Yes, it went all Richter scale at the end, but it was very, very loud in the student section all night long.

I was in the student section as well. Like I said, "It was loud throughout, but NOT as loud as a lot of others."

meaning, as loud as a lot of other games in Tiger Stadium throughout the course of the game. The Fuller catch and afterwords were certainly near the loudest I've ever heard it.
