He never had an offer from LSU out of high school. Why would we want backups that could not play at Auburn? That is one of the reasons we are in the mess we are in now. We can’t grab bodies just to fill a roster. We need elite players to have any chance to beat Bama or Georgia next year.

He would not get on the field at LSU. He didn't even start at AU.
