Young Rutgers law grad Nick Brooks diving into both cases, seems to feel LSU is in a pretty good position.

Time for football. I'm practicing and going through my pre-game prep. Going to be on the top of my game tomorrow.

The LSU players and school has a strong wind at its back along with a good case.
The SEC case will likely stay in the Louisiana State Court for a number of reasons and the CFP can't retaliate against LSU for following a Court Order of Injunction.
This guy got his JD from Rutgers (B10).

Said the federal case will be stayed, if not dismissed, until the Louisiana case is finished. Players will play and no one can be punished as long as the injunction is in place. Nor can the SEC place retroactive penalties on LSU.
