Just in case you didn't know, the LSU basketball team will be playing at Hofheinz Pavilion here in Houston on Tuesday, November 29th at 7pm. Similar to LSU, Houston really struggled last year but hopes to turn things around in the 2011-2012 season. We should have a better pulse of their team after they take on Arkansas this upcoming Friday.

According to the UH ticket office, single game tickets for this contest should go on sale "within the next week". Last year at Rice, LSU fans made up at least 50% of the crowd in a losing effort. UH fans will be more supportive than Rice fans and we need all the local Tiger support we can get!

The family will be there!

It's our first road trip to Hofheinz Pavilion.

Got any tips for safe, economical parking nearby?

I've never been to the Pavilion, I'm looking forward to the experience as well. I'm assuming it won't be too tough from a logistical standpoint for a mid-week early season game.

Kingwood Tiger, I live in Kingwood as well, been there for about 5 months. I live in the Woodstream area. Where abouts are you?

I don't think parking will be an issue, iirc they have lots real close to the pavillion, not sure about cost, but can't see it being very expensive.

should we do a TD pre game mini tailgate

Do to death in the family, I didn't get to attend. I did tape and watch the game later on. Crowd looked pretty miserable on TV. How was the LSU turnout?

Turnout was pretty thin on both sides - I'd estimate that Hofheinz Pavilion was less than a quarter full. LSU fans were pretty loud given our numbers.

Hofheinz is a decent little venue for basketball, by the way. It was a fun evening.
