After the Georgia game, I was so frustrated because they kept running the option with JJ. They were so stubborn and would not get away from that play. But I told myself at that time that the coaches would go back and watch the film, and that would be the end of JJ and the option. The only thing I could do was sit back and laugh when they came out and ran the option with JJ over and over against Florida and get the same results.

This is funny, I was going to post the "OFFICIAL FIRE GARY CROWTON NOW" thread and head it with this article. I see this was already done. Maybe it's time to start a new thread of that nature?

I've been complaining about Crowton for years. I've also brought up the point to Dandy D and others that it appears that Les Miles "takes over" the play calling when the LSU offense is sputtering. Note Washington and the UL game in particular that Miles appears to be holding a play sheet. Also notice that the office actually moves the ball when he is doing so.

I understand this is Les Miles' team. But Skip Bertman is not a fool. I can't imagine this nonsense continuing for much longer. LSU DOES control their destiny! Why waste it on Crowton's feelings? GET RID OF HIM NOW!

Get rid of that no-huddle garbage and install a basic offense and RUN IT. I assure you, this LSU team will move into the top 30 before the year is over with a BASIC offense. Install a little more sophistication, top 20.

I see Miles as a very frustrated man on the side-line and I noticed he stopped calling plays at the MSU game (or at least, I haven't seen him holding the play card). That tells me that Crowton may have been given a "last chance" to make something happen. Maybe I'm reading too much into it?

Anyone else find it interesting that Urban Myer's Utah team shut out Crowton's BYU?

I will personally BUMP this thread or start a new FIRE CROWTON NOW thread. The Tiger FAITHFUL has to start clamoring for change NOW! When the natives are restless, the chiefs must appease!

Freaking Nostradomas. This is what I can't stand to watch. We have SUPERIOR Athletes at certain positions that don't get the ball half as much as they should. Lafell got one pass against florida.

Other teams build the offense around their best players and find ways to get them the ball. Crowton wants to out-cute everyone with formations and mixing up sets. its not working and we can't establish any rythm. Players like Toliver, Lafell, Shepard, Randle are being wasted.
