All games on TV, a giant stadium, and high prices are the cause. I was at LSU 1979-1983 and we held 70,000 plus and didn't sellout all the time then. I have very good seat 40 yard line 20 rows up and $3,000 a ticket plus parking pass, and other donations is stiff. I giveaway half my tickets or more every year. The traffic and drive from New Orleans is a PIA

Lower level seating capacity needs to be decreased, seats widened, club options expanded... in seat concession service etc. Leave the upper decks as is for budget minded fans and bama fans.

Alcohol too. This modern day prohibition is ridiculous.

So why leave?
coming from a student: buzz wears off around half, people get hungry and don't want to pay 8 bucks for a mediocre hamburger, not everyone lives in a dorm so traffic is an issue for students too believe it or not, work/other obligations the next morning. I usually stay til a couple minutes left in the 4th, but I agree is disappointing to see the stadium empty so soon. It's not just students though

Excellent idea. The concessions are terribly slow, M and M were good

Bring a pint of whiskey to the game, they don't even pat down anymore.

Eat before the game. There are plenty of options in the tailgate area or go to the Union.

I made that walk to Tigerland when I was a student, quit your bitching.

Quit lying, all you're going to do is lay in bed and watch netflix all day.

Good for you. Now talk to your buddies about taking the precautions mentioned above so they stay too.

No only the students left at fricking halftime though.

When the band gets up and leaves it's not time go home.

If traffic is an issue then walk. How many students live farther out than brightside?

Other obligations? The frick? Pussies

Some in the gold seats were gone and there were a lot gone but they were never there to begin with. ONLY the student section had an massive amount of seats missing 13.5 min left in the 3rd qtr.

We stayed til the band played the alma mater after the game. We always do. It's the cool thing to do.
