Who is the producer for these and what department is responsible for them?

The video department has fallen off a cliff.

They are poorly done. IDK why they can't get the audio right. You never hear the reporters questions. I'm assuming most of the questions are coming from a conference call or zoom meeting...just put the mic next to the phone or computer speaker. Damn, how hard is that?

Are you taking about official videos put out out by the athletic department or the interviews put on YouTube by the reporters?
LSU has nothing to do with the latter
LSU has nothing to do with the latter

Thanks for that clarification. Then the reporters need to get their audio right.

It’s shocking the number of interviews nationwide that are being done with cell phone equipped with a lens and Bluetooth microphone.

Correct and its usually a shotty one direction mic, which is why we only hear the player and not the question

Yes. When they can go to Best Buy and purchase a half-decent omnidirectional mic for under $100. Invest in your craft.
