Ask them.

I'm sure they won't be retarded questions.

I think Jay is a fantastic coach and we are lucky to have him.
With that being said his tinkering this year has been bad.

Jay brought in tanner reaves to take braswells spot last season it didnt happen gave him the chance to be a starter again this season and in a spot when you need tanner reaves you bring in a freshman in a tied ballgame in the 8th inning on the road?.?????? NOT a good decision.

The whole world saw how bad Yorke is but it took 30 games for Jay to see it!!!! Not a good decision.

Not being how bad Arrambide was behind the plate is mind boggling. That was obvious last season and it did not improve this season.
I know he has crazy potential but hes just a dh at this point and Serna is not great he is better. YAMIN seems to be the best defensive catcher, but in order to put him in the line up you lose Serna or arrambide's bat. I know its a juggling act but you need to do what is best for this team this season. And not 2027

At some point LSU needs better fans who think they are perfect and JJ should be also. Its a bad year ,just support the players.

How can you watch this fiasco and not question the players or coaches???

No amount of coaching in the fricking world will keep players who aren’t good enough defensively from fricking up. The infielders are making BASIC errors on fundamentals they should have had down in high school and travel ball.

It’s not just the frick-ups on this team, either. We have lost games due to good players making mistakes. I love Stanfield as a player, but he cost us a run yesterday with an absolutely terrible throw home. A throw we know he can make. Serna is a true freshman and has a bright future, but he still keeps making mistakes behind the plate. He cost us another run yesterday on a basic catch that should have been right in the glove. Hell, Curiel killed our chances in a game earlier this season when he couldn’t make a catch that a player his level should.

None of these are coaching problems. They are basic execution problems. When no one is stepping up besides maybe Braun and taking one of these spots in question, there are no good moves to make.

Now does Jay get too cute sometimes and outthink himself? Sure. He probably should have left Patrick on the bench and not shaken up the infield last night. We saw the same thing when a defensive sub cost us another run game and a series a few weeks ago. But the majority of the blame has to rest on the players here. Most of them have plenty of experience and they are paid well to be at LSU. They need to do their fricking jobs, and several of them aren’t.

Like what? You can show teach, and demonstrate, but the player still has to execute

Agree …too many Div 1 baseball players are prima Dona’s and lack the scrappy attitude sand lot kids used to have. Travel pampered junior baseball circuit develops kids who ignore fundamentals of the game and are more interested in what dance they’ll do when they get a hit or rehearsing their post game interview statements! The only reason we lose mid week games to far less talented teams. Year after year of top recruits….and LSU isn’t the only quality program suffering from this!

The LSU baseball program was built way before he even got here.

Is that why we hasn't won a NC in all most 15 years before he got here and then won 2 in 4 years? Stop acting like Jay took over in 98. Lsu was struggling to get out of regionals before Jay got here.
