but he is.

And they aren't.

This isn't Pop Warner football, this is elite college football at the highest level. Pressure is high and expectations are higher. Criticism is appropriate.

Too bad they will never make it in life because you reward mediocrity and create a safe space so they don't get their feelings hurt. Maybe I'll hire them to cut my grass one day, but they'll probably just quit if I ask them to do a better job next time.

Tell the Truth:

Our gameplan was to run right into the teeth with a below average transfer QB and an offensive line that averages ONE star below every starter on Bama's Defensive line....except for the one from BATON ROUGE Tim Williams...The matchup was not in our favor and we did it anyway.

We need an RPO OC or HC.

We need to shut the borders down with recruiting (we have in recent years, but did not with Cam Robinson etc)

The Defense is lights-out good and will win games for us as long as we keep Aranda.

You still don't get it. Orgeron didn't need to "reward" the O-line, but he didn't need to say we need Cam Robinson.

So when my kids don't do well, I'll help them get better. Not tell them they aren't as good as the kid across the street. It's my job to make my kids better, I'm their "coach". Orgeron should have the same mentality.

Let me know if this still doesn't make sense to you. Or maybe you can ask your lawn guy to break it down for you.

one thing the vast majority of players at this level can handle is a coach chewing their arse. it's a way of challenging them. if they can't handle it they need to go home to momma.

our baseball team experienced that last year.

Do you think our Jimmie's and Joe's are inferior to Alabama's Jimmy's Joe's at every position?

Who is responsible for identifying where our Jimmy and Joe's have an advantage?

For those areas where our J&Js are inferior, who is responsible for mitigating those deficiencies?

Do you cut grass Levee? DCTiger might have a job for you.

Call me crazy, but I woke up this morning with the strong feeling that Kiffen will join Orgeron on the sidelines next year.

How many times have you heard a coach say we need the guys on the other sideline?

When the guy on the other sideline is Louisiana talent, I think O has every right to say that. It is more of a dig on the recruitment fail than a dig at our o-line.

We really should be trying our best to keep our own in-state. Instead of letting guys like Cam, Dak and Lacy go to the enemy.

One team, one heartbeat, one state, one recruiting base. It was Tell the Truth Monday, truth be told LSU failed to recruit some major in-state O-Line talent.

So how many times have you heard a coach refer to the recruiting woes of his predecessor?

Is it not true? what needs to happen is why La kids go elsewhere, esp to gumpland. I am sure it is just that 'Bama is a much, much, much better program than LSU...

I think it's misdirection and an excuse for the loss. Orgeron basically said it's not his fault they lost, Alabama is just better.

We do need Cam Robinson though, and he was a big time North Louisiana kid that we missed out on because our coaching staff lost a ton of ground in that area of the state. We do need to do a better job in recruiting O-linemen.

He is motivating them and at the same time talking about a how we missed out on recruiting. Is Alabama not the "kid across the street?" Don't we want to be like the kid across the street?

He probably has kids that are hard workers and understand how the real world works so he would probably be a good person to ask. Thanks for the suggestion!

He didn't say that at all, but Alabama is better in the trenches and that is undisputed.
