Why do people think he is going to get kicked off the team? Jeremy Hill and Jordan Jefferson were both arrested for battery and didn't get kicked off

This is his first time getting in trouble, yes?

Those guys got in bar fights with men that were a marine and a fat redneck.

If this story is true, Mills sucker punched a 115 lb female and knocked her out and she had to get stitches.

If you think this is the same thing, I feel bad for you.

Just curious are you from Louisiana? And if so how did your parents raise you? Because I am and mine taught me under NO CIRCUMSTANCE is it ever ok to hit a woman. Sorry but this is not the same as the other two and it SHOULD NOT be viewed as such. I could care less what the circumstances were if the end result is that Mills punched this girl in the mouth. If that's the case then he should be gone. Period!! Hopefully it's a complete BS story and Mills didn't actually do this, but it certainly isn't looking good for him right now

So a woman claims he jumped out of nowhere and punched her in the mouth and everyone thinks it's case closed lock his arse up for 15 years. She said he did it so it has to be true. The whole story sounds fake to me.

This is stupid.

So you care about the circumstances?

but it certainly isn't looking good for him right now

That's your opinion and your opinion on how Mills is looking at this point in time is 100% worthless.

I think Rickey is more of a SS than a FS, but who knows. I guess Ronald Martin could be the next guy up

Lets not and say we did. Allow the legal process to proceed before coming to drastic conclusions. Please.

I don't care what circumstances led to Mills hitting a WOMAN! There is nothing ( including her hitting him) that would make it ok for him to hit her. Wtf are you?

You said there is NO CIRCUMSTANCE. I think that is a pretty stupid generalization. So if a woman starts punching you in the face you would never hit her? You would just stand there and let her keep punching you in the face? Or what if a woman pulled a knife on your wife or daughter? You wouldn't punch her in the face to get your wife or daughter out of the way? Because in that situation you would be a shitty husband and a shitty father. Don't be so quick to make a stupid generalization when you yourself have never been put in a bad situation like that and you have no idea about the facts and circumstances of this particular case.

No one is saying it's always OK to hit a woman, so stop with the white knighting. There are legitimate self-defense scenarios.

Also, all we have is the alleged victim and her friend's story. It's easy to hear one side and automatically throw Mills under the bus.

That said, if the girl's story comes to be totally true, I don't think Mills should have a spot on the roster. The scenario recounted in her version is unacceptable. But her version is just that - her version. People make up shite like this all the time.

And you don't assume guilt for missing a meeting with investigators. Let's wait for some smoke to clear. We have the entire summer to sort it out.

I'm a 28 year old husband that has never laid a hand on a woman, but am not going to jump to some generalization without knowing any facts about anything and say that there is NO CIRCUMSTANCE where something is okay.

We have a lot of unproven depth at the Safety position. If Millis really did this he needs to be off the team. We have plenty of young talent coming in to fill in for him.

R. Jefferson
Martin
Battle
Voorhies
Adams
Thompson
Gage- probably a CB but if needed he could play

All we can go by is the facts that have been presented NOW. There hasn't been anything reported about a knife being used. Look I hope it's a complete BS story and that Mills didn't do this, but if hypothetically the woman was trying to attack Mills with a knife then why wouldn't he go straight to the police with that? Missing meetings and ducking calls doesn't exactly prove anything that you are suggesting.

I agree, hitting a woman is off limits unless it is truly self-defense like some crazy lady with a knife starts flailing at you/your family like in the movies.

Not saying this happened here, but we all know that some women will try to bait guys to hit them by slapping them first. Me personally I would walk away. But slapping a guy is legally assault. If they retaliate, from a legal stand point I don't think he should be charged with anything. He is just not civilized is all.

You don't know that any "Facts" have been presented...all you have is a story from some chick. That isn't necessarily fact. That's all I am saying.

quote:

And now you seem to change your tune on the whole NO CIRCUMSTANCE thing. How would you get yourself out of that situation? I certainly wouldn't have a problem punching a chick in the face if she was wielding a knife in my face. If it comes down to my safety or my wife's safety and some crazy chick wielding a knife, I am going to do anything and everything in my power to keep me and my wife safe.

Again, he isn't married and those are OBVIOUSLY not the circumstances of what happened. All I am saying, is don't be so damn quick to judge what happened and make a decision on what should be done. Yes, if he knocked a chick out for knocking on his door he is a POS and should be booted. But we do not know if that is what happened. Let's the true story unfold before judging the kid.

That should be the only reason to.

His "alleged" yelling at her from one of the rags that reported this story isn't going to bode well for him however.
