He needs to take some grad assistant and assign him the task of doing NOTHING other than watching the clock and managing timeouts, etc. He's proven that he cannot do it, so recognize the flaw and do something to correct it, even if it is an external correction. That's what great coaches do...fix their own deficiencies by assigning someone else to handle the aspect is question.

And I'm not buying that it is all Crowton's fault either. It seems that Miles turns Crowton loose when it suits his whim, but reins him in at other times. If we are willing to give Miles another year, I'm willing to give Crowton another year to see what he can do with (as previously mentioned) an upperclassman quarterback.

I think this already happens. Joe Robinson seems to be assigned to holding Miles hand through the game.
