But it's true that we've played some really bad teams

Mississippi State will be 5-2 after this week and we beat them on the road. Auburn is favored to be 4-2 after this week, and Syracuse has a shot at being 4-2 after this week as well....hell even South Carolina is favored to move back to within 1 game of being .500. Eastern Michigan sux. If all of these things happen (and that's four P5 teams right there) and with Florida coming in a 6-0 this week and Western KY likely coming in at 6-1 next weekend.....that's a pretty damn strong schedule. I keep hearing LSU has played a weak schedule. I'd put that up against most teams in the country at this point of the season.....especially after this weekend.

I am surprised and content with the offensive numbers at this time. But we havent played anyone, so who knows if LSU has a good enough offense or not.
Interesting season:
Who wouldve guessed Auburn to be this bad on offense and defense.
LSU hasnt played a starting QB all year and wont again Saturday.
Bama loses to Ole Miss 2 yrs in a row.
Ohio St cant move the ball. Michigan is back already.
Arky cant run the ball.
;;;;;;;
LSU can throw and catch the ball this year?

That's just a shocking statement. All these teams have padded their records against less-than-stellar opponents:

Miss St: Southern Miss, NW State, Troy
Auburn: Jax State, San Jose State
Syracuse: Rhode Island, Wake Forest, Central Michigan
South Carolina: UNC, UCF
Florida: New Mexico State, Kentucky and Missouri (both are not good)
Western KY: Vandy, La Tech, Indiana, Miami (OH), Rice, Middle Tenn State

I like where we are, but it's been a weak schedule thus far. November will tell the tale.

WHOA boy... You said MSU was one of the worst teams in the SEC before we played them... They only had 6 starters returning and all that crap... I KNEW you were gonna do this... Before he season all these teams LSU was gonna play were gonna be crap... BUT now that we have beaten them you turn and want to make them look SOOOOO great to help your agenda....

AU is horrible... Not much credit for LSU beating them so bad.... Cuse is NOT that good......

If you were told , before the season that by week 7 LSU'S offense would be ranked 8th in the country in offensive yards per play and 23rd in the country in offensive yards per game you'd laugh at the statement.

I would not have thought this...... The offense has been impressive... This week will be the best team [BY FAR] we have played yet...So lets see what we can come up with..... I am not concerned with how many yards we get compared to TOP and total plays run... That will wear down the Gators D...

I'm not surprised at all. The staff has been trying to implement this style of offense since late last season (Texas A&M and bowl game) and Cam seems to be learning on the fly as it's not the style of Offense he was use to running. But I'm very happy with the offense and the direction it is going. Finally starting to see the fruits of their efforts on full display against S Carolina. I expect the offense to continue develop along these lines as the staff and team get more and more experience in it and continue to add new wrinkles.

Oh yeah? What style of offense is he "use to running"?

and BTW, this again is LSU not running up the score. So people bitch about the rankings for 13 but forget Jennings basically played 2.5 games that year.

The offense is fine. Les will finish with another top offense in LSU history.

OK, we still use the full back and a verticle pass game. That is the offense cam runs.
