Pulled both of my hamstrings in practice running a drill to the point that I thought they were torn. Looks to be a similar situation with Clyde. We are good boys 1 week post injury-I felt fine but still sore. First 3 days were hell. By the end of the week I was cool. 2 week post injury-I felt good and was running fine but taking it slow, felt like I could go 100% but didn't want to push it. Just warmed my legs up. Still kinda sore but nothing I couldn't play through. 3 week post injury- I was back to near 100%, just didn't want to over extend my legs like I normally would for longer strides but overall I didn't miss a beat He's on schedule to heal before the big game gets here
It's cool, man. When I was a freshman at LSU, I was chasing Suzy nekkid up the beach and gave myself a black-eye with my nutz. True story.

I don't know why so many people go way out of their way to be insulting and critical of posts like the OP. Just read it and move on if it isn't of much value to you. People just jump on stuff sometimes and pound dudes into the dirt just for sharing a thought or a story.
Anyway, Merry Christmas, you miserable bastages.

Wtf kind of drill were you doing where you pulled both hamstrings simultaneously?

Good information. Good Post. I didn't pull a hamstring until I was 45. I am sure Clyde and you recover different from this old man.
I think they will try to sit him. We will see. It's good that the other backs are practicing with purpose. Let's see how they rise to the occasion. We will find out alot about them this week

I've also pulled both of mine.
After 2 weeks they felt back to normal, then i ran than they pulled again immediately.
However, Athletes bodies are better at healing than mine. Especially at that time. They are made to eat right and rest.

Even if he can not play-play, I would dress him up and use him as a decoy if/when a short yardage play arises.

Thanks tigersav - Always good to hear from those who have been thru it. I could explain plantar fascia with the best of them because I dealt with that in my 20's and it is no joke either. I think Clyde will be dressed out and play and I also think he re aggravates it during the game but so what? We don't need to "save" him because we aren't promised another game as a lot of people on here think.
