I see punters do much better than the LSU punter in many games as far as getting the ball downed inside the 10. In fact, in many games I have watched a punter do it multiple times inside the 10. The LSU punter as I remember hit one landing in the end zone, another hitting on the 1 which wasn't kicked high enough to down, and one that went out of bounds at the 14.

I think you meant pooch punter and not punch punter (just a typo I think) but I have seen many pooch punters just punt the ball high and not aim for the sidelines at all as you claimed. Bottom line....he was better than last year's punter on his regular punts but he really needs to improve his punting when in + territory or they need to find another punter when kicking from that area. He flat out stunk it up. I give the guy a pure F on that aspect of his punting...he failed to do the job.
