Ballscaster, if that did happen then that would even be that much better. I know it has about a snoball's chance in Hell of him going to Texas but Im telling you I would sure enjoy talking with some of my Bama friends who are Hellbent on believing that Lord Saban would never and I do mean never leave the rolling hills of Tuscaloser. That is why I would be laughing my butt off.

Here's one that will blow your mind. What if Saban goes to USC? California is rich recruiting ground to the point he leaves a majority of Texas and LA alone.

See Les Miles and Jimbo Fisher.

You idiots that start posts like this one are certainly Bama obsessed. Saban is staying at Bama and you retards need to accept it. Based on the OP and the majority of responses, you kids make it look like that LSU is nothing but a pussy fanbase. People like ya'll make it look like LSU is scared to death of Bama with Saban at the helm. The man is at Bama and will probably retire while at Bama. You need to accept reality that Saban will be at Bama until he decides to retire. To be the best, you have to beat the best and Bama definitely proved they are the best this past Saturday. I remember how Spurrier literally destroyed LSU while coaching at Florida. Spurrier used to run up the score on LSU big time.

I'm far more concerned about what LSU needs to do, in order to be successful. It's not like LSU is only losing to bama every year...

Yes, but no else is taking our best recruits.

Miles replaced a guy who had less than 100 career wins and was not then an all time great. Bobby Bowden was replaced by Bobby Bowden's corpse in 2000.

It would not matter to me at ALL what he does. Why should it matter to ANY LSU fan. Lets worry about what is happening with THIS LSU team.

I guess bc Saban is killing it at Bama, and as fans we are free to chat about our hopes and dreams on a message board knowing none of it matters in real life.

There are very few examples of someone replacing an "all-time great" who was still in his prime. Zook, who bombed. Bill Walsh's replacement sucked and quit after one year. Maybe Mark Helfrich, who's not doing so bad so far, but too early to tell. Does Jimmy Johnson count as an "all time great?"

So you miss seeing LSU get crushed by the Fun n Gun? You weren't glad to see Spurrier leave FL?

Anyone who says they wouldn't care or it wouldn't matter is either a liar or a fool.

That's fine with me that they cry. But IF Saban leaves??? What does this mean for the talent level and coaching ability at LSU????? Sure Saban is OWNING LSU, but so did Ole Miss and UGA this year. Its NOT just Saban and Bama.
